Run it for hours continuously, maintain power stability for testing transmissions.

all kidding aside, you really can't use pointer style lasers in projector builds as they have limited duty cycles, battery issues, and no way to modulate them.

We purchased the modulated one so that we could bounce off mirrors 16 feet above our property in Florida.

Kind of like a force field.

We were told by the builder that his unit would run for unlimited hours every night.
