I'm looking for a <~$60 Greenie, but something nice, not the cheap chinese pointers, I don't really feel like messing around with "oooh, let's gamble on this $40 laser and see if it's DOA!".

In the past, on this forum, I've been able to find some nice 40-90mw green lasers, that were of nice quality, and were under $100. Anyone feel like parting ways with something like this? The goal is not to spend more than $50-$70, and find a pointer (I can't build, I literally don't have time) that won't break after a week/month with light usage.

So, lemme know. Figured I might as well make a wtb thread, in case somebody's been on the fence about parting ways with a nice 50mw.

Thanks for info.

I have a 40mW star tip green laser with adjustable focus. You can have it for $25 shipped.

he means the head or tip is detachable and has a diffraction grating that makes starry displays with the laser light.

If that tip can adjust for infinite distance pointing (like, just a plain ole dot) than this is what I'm looking for exactly :D

Yep, it sure can. It has an adjustable focus too so you can change the spot size.
