WTB cheapo 18650 host

i've been away from lasers for a few years so i've lost touch with the people here. i'd like to buy an old used host i could drop a 12 mm module from dtr into. i'm going for a 405 16x diode run at ~500 mW used for short <60 sec runtimes so massive heat sink not needed. ideally i'd just want to solder 2 leads from the driver and burn.
i had a lot of lasers at one time. still have a few hene's and stuff, but no balloon popper.

The best and quickest and cheapest right now would be to look at "Lifetime17" sales threads.
He has ton's of 2 wire connect plug and play's and usually something simple and in your budget like your looking for..

For $25 Survival Laser has a host you can drop a 20mm module from DTR into.

Welcome back. Lifetime has some really good looking custom hosts you just have to solder two wires together.

Bought quite a few, and have been very satisfied. He's got some with massive heat sinks for the larger diodes. Some are just killer. Enjoy.

As Bowtie mentioned please post your work with beam shots. Beamshots are always a crowd pleaser.

Why not use this as your host for the 405nm diode? I am not as familiar with it as I am with a similar host by sinner called the Envy. They seem to be close to the same thing.

the head is for a 5.6 diode. i found an old sh-032 host heatsink. anyone have the host?
