Hey! Looking to build my own laser. Been lurking here a while and seen the cool housings that the JayRob and Ehgemus guys are building. I would like to purchase a homebuilt laser, probably a high-powered 445nm. I assume someone who builds a laser of this caliber knows what they're doing, and I would like to see what the innards of a high-quality homebrew look like. Seen a lot of the literature here on it, but nothing compares to tinkering with one in person.

For my build, I want to get a custom housing with nice glass. Diode would be something like a cheapish 405nm so I don't cringe too bad if I screw up and pwn the diode somehow. Not decided on the driver just yet. Maybe I'll solder up my own? I have some experience wiring up guitars and guitar stompboxes, and some unused components laying about.

Would also like to get some eye protection if you have any laying around. If not, I'll just buy new.

You could wait for someone te sell second hands and save some bucks but in the pro shop the items are mostly available. And look around for banners, some of them has discount code for lpf members.

I have a 405nm phr diode I would part with. Still new in the heat sink and esd packaging. Make me an offer.
