Would you pay $70 for one of these 200mW DIY reds?

I made this Dorcy DIY 650 red a few months ago. I was just wondering if its the kind of thing that I could sell. It would be in a current regulated 200mW version, and maybe not this exact flashlight. As you can see from the video the circuitry and diode are just hot glued in place, so its not the prettiest setup like those MXDL ones. I'm just curious. I've been thinking about trying to make and sell some.

You will be able to sell them, but I don't think you will be able to sell many at $70 with DX's new 200mW pen out at $54.

I'll think about it. I would be able to offer more of a garauntee than DX does.

I mean I could garauntee a good driver circuit, diode, partial/full refunds etc... just like most forum members are willing to do.

You would give a refund/full replacement if the laser died in a month? (maybe a year I can't remember) But Toked your right about how not everybody likes the looks of the DX red (or the shipping time even though it's free) So might as well make a few and try to sell than at $70. If they don't sell just drop your price.

Ya, but first I need to make myself one to ensure build quality. It would be a month or so before I could sell any.
Thanks for the input :)
