I want to start to build my blu ray laser. I want to pretty much do this http://www.laserpointerforums.com/forums/YaBB.pl?num=1209532949
but with a leadlight without the LED, since I haven't really found many except for on one site. For the AixiZ housing, I read about coated lenses, and they being coated for red lasers, and therefore reducing output. Will this solve the problem? http://cgi.ebay.com/Glass-lens-for-...5450694QQihZ002QQcategoryZ53141QQcmdZViewItem
Will this work with two aaa's totaling to 3v? I want to get a power of greater than or equal to 50mW. I have a PHR-803t diode. Will the voltage be too low to obtain this power? My only other aaa option that I know of is to use 2 3.7v batteries totaling to 7.2v, which looks to be too much for DrLava's Micro FlexDrive.

That pretty much sums up my project. Please point out any errors or concerns :)

For your first build just start with a DDL driver and a few cr123's or a 9 volt battery. There are plenty of flashlights that will fit that combination.

I've already got it set that this is the pointer and driver that I want to use, I just want to confirm that it will work. I already have a Leadlight on the way anyway.

The glass lens is the worst one to get, its blue coated for reds. Stick with the stock aixiz lens
