It depends on what you want from your laser....
The old CNI has a tighter beam and burns better BUT has terrible collimation with mRad's exceeding 2.0 (larger dots)
whereas...
The new WL black has a thicker beam(looks about 2mm) so wont burn as good BUT has good collimation with mRad's quoted around the 1.2 mark(smaller dots)
Im hoping The new WL Spyder II has both qualities......tighter beam, with an improved mRad hopefully around the 1.0 mark.......just think a 300+mW laser with an mRad around 1.0......WOW
