This place is pretty hard on new guys so be on your best behavior. I got my first 2 posts locked until I explained myself to the moderator on how I utilize forums and what my research capacities are.

I would recommend the one with the filters. They are fun. You should check out optotronics.com though get a true 5mw. don't get higher or you will need glasses that defeat the purpose.

they have filter kits. they send you a few sheets when you order it and you can cut them up into many different diffractions if you spin them and are clever with making caps.

Also, those cheap ones will probably bleed infrared light which is very bad for your eyes. that's why I recommend the other. The only cheaper laser that's coated is wicked lasers and trust me, don't buy from them ever. They fail inspections, their lasers melt, and basicly i've heard a lot of bad press. There's even a 39 reasons why not to buy from them post somewhere in here.

I am looking for a inexpensive laser less then $20 dollars. I found some so tell me which one you think is best or find me one you would recommend. Thanks in advance. I really appreciate your help.

The Lasers I Found:

www.rayfoss.com

www.rayfoss.com

100mW 650nm red laser pen/ focusable /Pop balloons [OL-650-100P] - $11.99 : Zen Cart!, The Art of E-commerce
Go with your fist choice. It will be more fun than the other two.

In general in terms of quality though, as laser companies go, laserglow>optotronics>jetlasers>lazerer>o-like>rayfoss, so you may want to consider something else instead. 30mW green is a good starter laser.

@ - The rest of you guys  why not answer the question, as well as hammer the new guys with forum etiquette?

I like picking on the new guys as much as anyone, if they are doing something truly stupid, or trolling, but that's not the case here, so why alienate people? :can:
