Can anyone advise me where to pick up an i-red filter for a handheld green DPSS laser in the UK at a reasonable price? I have a nice 100mW laser which is very bright, but it is unfiltered and that makes me a little jittery about using it indoors (yes I have safety specs but they are not dual band ones, ond only block the green).
I see these filters on the Nova lasers website in the US for $10 but shipping to the UK seems to cost 3x as much as the filter itself which seems excessive for a 1cm2 sliver that would slip in a regular envelope.
Surely someone in the UK must sell them, where the postage would be reasonable?
