where to buy ir filtered module?

hey guys, im looking for a small green module (around 150mW) that is a size similar to this o-like one: Green laser module 150mW For custom build or lab [OLGLM150] - $96.99 : Welcome to O-Like.com, Your source for laser products and ir filtered as well. and is the o-like module ir filtered? because i might just get that instead.

The o-like module is not filtered. The "150mW" version of the module will probably output around 120mW of green.
You can easily install a filter yourself, though. That is, if you can find a decent IR filter.

Your next alternative is to buy a module from CNI.
If you are on a tight budget, though, you probably want to look elsewhere.

There's no way you spent three hours here and didn't find any information about IR filters. :spank:

An IR filter blocks infra-red light, but transmits shorter wavelengths.

If you had googled for IR Filter you would have found the answer in 10 secs.. Also isn't it quite obivious what it does but just looking at the name? IR Filter = Infared Filter = filters infared light

That should be fine. If its too large you can just file/cut off the excess glass.
