what's the MOST POWERFUL BR L.pointer that i can buy in web shops now?NO DIY!

:) the most powerfull bluray laser i saw is a 120mw from rayfoss..and the 100+ from olike. both on PEN size.

i only prefer to buy laser with momentary on push button... and not on/off switch. it is more safe........ and more funny :p

i don't know if i shoud buy the olike 100+/80+ mw pen. i oonly know that red laser is no visible in beam FOR ME....and that green is awesome ....in beam also at 30mw :)

ut i would understand if i will be NICELY sensitive to 405 nm....bluray. maybe is better to buy a 200...300mw bluray laser... but i've never seen it in any online shop!

Why not DIY? They are way better quality, more powerful and cheaper.

This laser hobby is for DIY. I have 2 Blu's running over 450 mW !!! You won't find that for reasonable ebay prices.

My favorite laser is a blu-ray I made myself! There are also plenty of DIY'ers here that can sell you a very professional-quality laser. I bet you can even find some units with momentary switches.

"2009 NEW UPGRADED Waterproof 405nm violet blue laser. OFF 35%.Unique Solid Design and Style of masculine simplity endow you with the best hand touch and manly superiority. Made of the imported high-end laser diode, first-class laser crystal, all glass glass optical lenses."

200mW - I will review one of these shortly; Upgraded model of 200mW Waterproof Violet Blue Laser 405nm Torch

But you'd rather get a bluray diy made.

yes..... i undestood i am wrong XD for bluray is better do it yourself.......... hey..how did you spend for a 450mw bluray? can you do some photo?and say us how visible is the beam compared to a green? i think.. like a 50mw green.

my problem is that i don't know how to solder.. ecc... i only know that there need to buy a diode...and a driver.. and sold it. ok.. but then.. the most difficult part is how to focus.....and put the TUBE....attauched of the diode.. and then put at the end a lense... mmmhh... it should not be so difficult.. but i am at 0 in this things.but i could learn the theorical......and then do it.

just a question. for green laser... is there the DIY=='??? i think no. because it is dificult!and at max people buy diode and get it into a laser host. IT IS EASY....nothing to solder.. nothing to do... only to be a little precise when you insert the diode...the puch button...ecc... so. is right that the __REAL__DO IT YOURSELF is only for RED and BLURAY laser diode (so.. not green)?...

soldering is surprisingly easy realista. use a 25watt iron and rosin core solder and a fine tip. you will be amazed. it's not as hard as some make it out to be.

Realista ---
Soldering isn't hard to learn with a little practice. You need basic electronic equipment.

My Blu rays are in a Kryton and a DX flashlight. The 8x diode is harvested from a pioneer RW drive ~$210. The Lava driver is ~$25. Modules are cheep. Think -- 477 mW for ~$300 !!!! AND they BURN - Really.

As for green --- I'd start with an O-like module and build it into a dead pointer. Some of those 100 mW modules are a "little :)" over 100 mW !! Like maybe 170 mW............ not all but some.
Building a green from the ground up is almost impossible for most people here. Very difficult.

So, you've been here for 7 months and you've never read the post that says "READ THIS BEFORE POSTING"???

There are a number of guides here which will walk you through building a laser step by step. There are detailed instructions showing how to do it. All the information you want is already here, just start reading.

i would make a laser myseelf... yeah.. i will read all things to do it.. BUT.. at 100% my first laser will be a low powered bluray-..just to spend little money...and learn. then ..surely i will need to have a 450/500 bluray XD :). but now.........i have to spend on olike site.. my money. i get a bad green 120+ and i must choose another laser. and maybe i will get a 100mw bluray instead. is good my decision? i only like pen size laser ....and momentary on push button.

and... i don't know what to buy in olike site..... 4 green i prefer optotronics...150mw. will be a purchase in my next future...( i will looking for the most powerfull green laser PEN....no handheld.. they are not good for bring it with me.. too big).

so.. probably now.....i will get a 100mw bluray from susie.. just to KNOW if i am sensitive to violet blue. it i am just a bit sensitive.. maybe i will never buy another bluray. BUT....if someone will show me how nice and strong could be a 400/500mw bluray.... maybe i will get married it :) i love green beam.. but if i could find a strong blue beam.. it better!!!but i think that to have the same beam of a 50..100mw green....a bluray should be at least 450mw....or maybe a 450mw is just visible like a 20/30mw green.. i don't know. i only CNA SAY...that a 200mw red( my dilda)...could be comparable at a 5mw green...and i am GENEROUS.( probably at a 3/4mw green)

I honestly think you will enjoy the experience so much more if you do it yourself! Consider it a learning experience with a big payoff!

i don't recommend you boblaser coz a Austrilian friend of mine was screwed by them last year when he asked them to custom make five ir filtered(they usually don't add) 300mw green lasers and they agreed; guess what? all lasers he received are rly ir filtered but no more than 250mw. they just claimed the ir filter will reduce the power...lol..god knows it's TRUE. But ir filter is cheap. they just don't wanna maintain the listed power.

i need say that i never bought any bluray from it. so it's a mere advice.
