Yep, all 15650's are rechargeable... All of them will be able to deliver the amount of current required by the flexdrive... The only difference is how long it will last per charge. You've missed the H on the end of "mAh".. which stands for "hours", as in "milliamp-hours". As in, how many milliamps it will be able to deliver for an hour, per charge... if your flexdrive is getting some 90% efficiency, and your laser is drawing 300mA, it's drawing 330mA from the battery... a 3300mAh battery (for example) would last ten hours at that draw (theoretically).

Yep, what he said^. The more capacity, the better. Many companies misquote this value, however, since very few of us will bother measuring the capacity of a battery.

Very true [smiley=smiley_up.gif].

So, the higher Mah the better. And these are the same size as AA's right? And the same size as two CR123's.

So which is the better brand?

UltraFire is $5.05, and says they are 2400Mah.
TrustFire is $5.00, and says they are 2500Mah

I get the idea they are all the same. And its just a competition between 2400, and 2500Mah. And that there are only 3 types: 800Mah, 1800Mah, and 2400/2500Mah

No, 18650's aren't the same size as AA's, they're 18mm in diameter, 65mm in length... check a ruler, that's huge. I think AA's are 14mm in diameter and 50mm long, hence they are 14500 lithiums.

Also, two CR123's are wider than an AA (though about the right length)... an N battery is half an AA.

So generally you couldn't use a 18650 battery in place of two CR123s. (aside from the fact you wouldn't get as many volts)
