My Grandfather's Uncle improved the drum head from his tiny Dodge City Music Shop, and ended up making all the drums for the Beatles.

Also... my good friend's great great great great grandfather started the Nebraska Chapter of the KKK. (Interesting, but not something he proclaims everyday)

Oh yeah, and my mom appeared on the Discovery Channel on a show where they showed Paleontologists digging up some huge fish in the ancient Kansas seabed. My mom was a part of a particular dig that took place in Glade, KS, excavating a 15 foot xifactinus.

My uncle is the CEO of an oil and gas company which is among the 25 largest in the World which are not owned by the government. It is the biggest part of the largest company in Denmark.

One of my friends is the great something daughter.. (don't know the exact family link) of the guy who invented the bendable straw.

I have been on TV a couple of times, but never anything major.. mostly very quick interviews.

When I was 13 or so I was in the group that broke the World records for:
Most whole suckling pigs grilled at once.
Most open tent structures put up at once.
I only discovered we had actually been participating in breaking those records the day after.. I thought we were just making dinner and putting up shelter.

That's all I could think of right now.. I don't really have any famous personal achievements so far.
