Video and Photos of 405nm through soapy water and clear.

Here are some beam shot photos and videos that I made with my Iphone whilst doing flruorescence experiments with my 405nm. This laser is being driven @ 495mA.

The first two photos and the first video are with liquid fabric detergent compared to a clear tap water control.

The other photos and video are made using powdered dish detergent and dissolved into solution compared to a clear tap water control.

The difference is quite noticable. I did not alter the color rendered by the camera in these photos. I may do a color correction to more closely resemble the actual color in the room.

Yep a lot of laundry detergent has florescent dye in them to make your cloths whiter and brighter

You should try some old window glass some of it fluoresces orange

What type of detergent were you using? It looks almost bright pink in some of those pictures. Very nice.
