various beams of 405, 445, 532 and 650 (pic heavy)

Hi all,

I have done various photos of my 4 wavelengths today and yesterday, thought I'd show some of the best:

445 completely takes over the picture in this one, and I cocked up the alignment of the other lasers a bit

defocussed 445

650, 405 and (EDIT!) 532

405 and 532 crossing over

1.6 Watts of blue doing its bit at overpowering everything!

the three greens - the pen on the left has an amazingly thin beam

I especially love that 405nm beam I always think 405 is exotic(at least to me)!!

Thanks. Yeah I consider 405 quite exotic too, sure it's easy to get hold of but the beam properties are in a world of its own. It's nice how it fluoresces certain objects, and through a glass of water it looks like the beam of a 473. Truly unique colour.

Have to say though nothing beats 1.6 Watts of 445 in the night sky The only way I can describe it is a beam roughly the colour of the water in minecraft seemingly reaching to outer space. Unfortunately not very photogenic purely as it drowns everything else out.

Lasers are truly incredible.
