You do of course realise that is a purely theoretical design used to win a competition, and is in no way factual?

It would be cool, but magnets can't amplify light.

yes i know but its still neat.magnets just make the electricity.You put the magnet on you eye lid and when you blink it makes electricity .

Yeah. But electricity doesn't amplify light, like it seems to say :)

Plus you have no way to capture that electricity, since all the stuff is embedded in your eye lids. It would be a neat idea if it worked, but no chance :)

This is just off the top of my head but I think the best nightvision goggles use a combination of thermal and infrared vision with some infrared LED's strapped to the goggles or something.
