It would be cool, but magnets can't amplify light.

yes i know but its still neat.magnets just make the electricity.You put the magnet on you eye lid and when you blink it makes electricity .

Yeah. But electricity doesn't amplify light, like it seems to say

Plus you have no way to capture that electricity, since all the stuff is embedded in your eye lids. It would be a neat idea if it worked, but no chance

how do night vision goggles work

This is just off the top of my head but I think the best nightvision goggles use a combination of thermal and infrared vision with some infrared LED's strapped to the goggles or something.
