Every number you pick will give the same shape. I could pick 11, 12, 13, or 14 and I'll get 9 which will give me the same shape. Any number in the 20s will get me 18, any one in the 30s will get me 27...etc. On these numbers they put the same shape so you will get the same shape no matter what number you pick.

Exactly.... all numbers are a multiple of 9 and all multiples of 9 have the same
shape. Every time you play the shapes change but all multiples of nine will be
the same. ;D ;D ;D

But its :cool: :cool: :cool: :cool: just the same. ;)

That's cool. I imagine there is some fancy math equation about this

Not really... this is the equation:

(10X +Y) - (X+Y) = 9X;

So lets say our number is 47, X = 4, Y = 7. Lets plug it in.

(4*10 +7) - (4+7) = 4 * 9;
(47) - (11) = 4 * 9;
36 = 36;

There you go. We can solve it algebraically too:

(10X +Y) - (X+Y) = 9X;
10X +Y - X - Y = 9X;
10X - X = 9X;
9X = 9X;

So Y cancels itself out, that's why this trick works. The answer will always be 9 times the first digit. Now, because these numbers are 9 points apart, you can put them on the screen with each multiple of 9 with the same symbol and people won't notice. See where it asks you to stare at your number for 10 seconds? That's so they don't get you to look at the other numbers there, otherwise you'll notice this :)

And if you "try again", they shuffle the symbols so it isn't the same one repeated for the same numbers again so you don't get suspicious ;D

do this and you'l understand a lot better...

pick 2 numbers.

99 and 15 for example.

9 + 9 = 18
99 - 18 = 81

1 + 5 = 6
15 - 6 = 9

look for those numbers, the signs are the same... lol. they have multiple of the same sign.
