So I have a Niteye Eye40 for sale..it's in great condition. It's from CandlePower forums. I've hardly used it over the last year, it's been sitting in my drawer untouched. Anyways, here's the original thread. I can say that if you're looking for a crazy bright flashlight, this is the one.

It has five modes, low, medium, high, turbo, strobe. Turbo is supposed to be 7000 lumens. All in all, it's a beast. It's modded, I'm not expert in flashlights, so if you have technical questions about the mod try to refer to the OP.

EYE40vn 7000L
Low = .51A/per LED => 250 Lumen
Med= 1.51A/per LED => 650 Lumen *2 = 1300 Lumen
High= 3.1A/per LED => 1150*3 = 3450 Lumen
Turbo = 6.1A/per LED => 1750*4 = 7000 Lumen

I have the original packaging, manual, etc.

Original Thread (Mine is more high-powered "package 1"):
CLOSED WTS: Eye40vn Ultra Compact High Lumen 5200L/7000L

Original price was ~$300. I'm willing to sell for $220 shipped. 1/19/2017 - $140 SHIPPED

Also selling the batteries for flashlight (4 x NCR18650) for $25 ($20 if you buy with the flashlight). These are the best choice of batteries for the light. Any worse would damage the flashlight. Rated at 3400mAh.

Sorry dude but seriously, 2nd hand Panasonic NCRB's for $8.7 each?! Even at $25 with the flashlight you've gotta be kidding.

Secondly, you should only be using high drain cells in this kind of light.

Even the original sale thread states this:

Warning:

1) The Eye40vn is to be used by an adult 18 years of age or older only
2) All user of this light must be aware of the risk involved by reading agreeing to a printed and included disclaimer with the light.
3) Use only matching charge high quality 18650 cells capable of minimum constant 10A discharge rate.
4) Never run light longer than 3 minutes on Turbo to protect yourself and the light. Ideally limit Turbo to 1-2 minutes only.
5) Store light without batteries in a safe location from children and anyone not aware of the special use condition of this light.
6) Always removed batteries from light when not in use. Do not trust the light to be lock out by twisting the body of the light from the head.

Good luck with the sale mate, but I'd recommend amending a few things.

Thanks for pointing that out. I was my understanding that the batteries usually ran for $10 each. Whoops, I changed it. As for the appropriateness, two respectable members on this forum recommended me these batteries for this light. I don't believe I made a mistake on that. Perhaps I'm wrong...

Nice light. I've actually been thinking about doing a 70,000 lumen build with the 100watt leds, otherwise I'd jump at this. I own the Stanley fatmax and which is rated at 2000 lumens and I don't really use that much.

Do you still have the groove in your sig?

As much as I trust you, this statement turns my off switch "I am only going to accept paypal payments as gift." Although I doubt very much you are other than the real deal, anyone can hijack another members ID here, especially inactive members, post an offer like this and scoop up the money, never to send anything. You might have great rep, but no way to know if the paypal account you ask money to be sent to is yours, or you are the real member.

Alaskan, if you would like to purchase, I'd be more than happy to accept the payment as money for a purchase of goods/services. I forgot to mention that any buyer with a decent amount of rep can send it as a payment for services. I just cringe at the idea of dealing with paypal buyer protection if things go awry..
