There is a new inexpensive spectrometer project out there which every LASER hobbyist
should know about.

If you go to SpectralWorkbench, you can either buy a kit or build one yourself. It is made
from common materials which most of us already have lying around.

There is also a lot of information there relating to spectroscopy in general and not necessarily
pertaining to LASERs. Be safe and have fun.
 





Thats really neat...and cheap, cant forget the cheap part! I hope someone does a review on one :)
 
IIRC the reason we don't use these for lasers is because the resolution is not fine enough for lasers, 5nm-10nm or something like that.

Still neat though :)
