I have access to some rather nicely made photo diode array, they come from optical benches.
They come encased in an aluminium housing with a glass cover and flying coaxial lead with BNC plug on the end.
I am looking for a member, preferably in the UK, to send one to so that they can run some tests for me
I need someone who has:-
An accurate laser power meter
A number of lasers, preferably red, green and blueray. Plus maybe a labby with adjustable output.
A multi meter
An inquisitive mind.
The ability to interperate results and tabulate graphs.
Someone with time and the inclination to help out with what, if it can be proven to work, may be something that can be offered to other forum members.
I have found out so far that on 4v range you get a reading on all colours and powers (that I have available), the same LD gives the same output each time I try...with a little drift over time.
It over-ranges the meter set on 4Mohm range
I will answer other questions as we go....Oh and whoever does this for me gets to keep the unit
