I finally got around to taking some pics. of my 445nm.
Was waiting for a foggy night. I woke up at 4:30 one morning and not only was it foggy but there was a very fine mist in the air. PERFECT!
After taking the pics., I noticed a strange phenomenon in the beam. At the end of the beam there was a Q-tip looking termination of the beam. I know it had something to do with the mist but still found it quite strange. I have never seen any laser pics. with this before.
First set is on a clear night.
Hitting a tree about 200' away.
Hitting my shed about 100' away.
This one below is hitting a tree about a mile away. I'd love to had somebody over there to tell me the dot size.
Next, the foggy night. Note the "Q-tip" In a couple of the pics., you can see the beam vaporizing the mist close to the laser
And last a couple of the beam hitting my fountain. I thought it would look better, but it was too bright for the camera and washed out the patterns.
