Sold: JDSU muliti line Ar ion

sad to say i must part with my argon. this is a jdsu 2214 ml40 cylindrical tube along with it's 2214 power supply. it produces 5 lines at idle (4A) and the 6th appears @4.2A. lines are blue to green with the 502nm line being the 6th.
lines produced are 457, 476, 488, 496, 502, and 514. this is a HOT tube putting out over 160 mW at full power.
the other great thing about this setup is I will include the fully functional remote interface I purchased from Meridith. It allows complete control of current and light output. hose and 220v fan are included

i bought this from daguin and have retained all the packing material from dave. dave really knows how to pack a laser and it will be sent out the same way.
i paid $350 for the laser plus shipping. the remote was ~$85 shipped
my price $350 plus $50 insured shipping in the us. you get a fine remote for free
if you're out of the us we must talk - shipping will be higher.

That is a great deal for that kinda head and PSU. Not surprised that it has already been snatched up (i think)!

The max I've seen from mine comfortably is 121 I think. Sounds like a pretty healthy tube

They're new tubes. So... Too much for the general person

Thinking I might build a new yag in future. Would be a fun project.

Rods are not cheap. It's too easy to find cruddy ones. But indeed let me know what you find. If you need advice let me know...and be warned that they're quite dangerous hwang

Well I mean if you want nice rods go to OEM... pay $2k for one rod, and go from there... or search eBay or MI... get a working rod for <$100... :thinking:

And yeah I need to get myself some YAG goggles too, any ideas where to get them cheaper than $150 (LG)?

You need confirmed OD+7 40% at least. The lg ones are really nice and the fit over glasses. I'd highly recommend them.
