SOLD - Custom Ehgemus 2 Watt Baby Beast.
I am calling this little guy the Baby Beast because that's just what it is: Over 2 Watts of 445nm laser power packed into a compact and innocent looking little laser.
The laser is built into a custom Ehgemus host with a direct pressed M140 diode that was cherry picked for high efficiency. This baby is powered by an X-Drive set at 1.67A and 2 15266 batteries with a 15mm spacer to take up the empty space. Focused by its G2 lense it peaks at nearly 2.1W and settles in at a comfortable 2W.
While the entire body effectively becomes the heatsink it is still a small laser and does heat up, so a duty cycle of 30 seconds on and 30 seconds off should be followed for the longest diode life.
The laser can also run off a single 14650 battery at 350mW, for those times when the maximum power isn't needed or desired, and can then remain powered on indefinitely.
Laser has less than 5 minutes runtime on it. Power was measured on a recently calibrated Ophir sensor, and power is guraranteed!
I will only sell this laser to adults over the age of 18, that have safety goggles and laser experience.
Included with the laser are 2 AW15266 batteries and spacer, plus 1 protected AW14650 battery.
Asking price $300.00, including Priority Mail shipping whithin the U.S.
