I've built several lasers with the MItsubishi 635nm diode now and decided to go ahead and sell one of them.
The laser consists of a modular host, 635nm Mitsubishi diode, a flexdrive set at 780mA, and a G1 lense optiized for red lasers. It runs off of a single 18500 battery, and a Sanyo high current battery is included. I don't know what the amperage is because you can't read the damn writing on the thing.
The laser put out a lttle over 600mW, and although at this current the driver didn't need heatsinking it is anyway, and the heatsink is thermal glued to the back of the diode heatsink for easily ajusting the current, if youy desired to do so.
