I've built several lasers with the MItsubishi 635nm diode now and decided to go ahead and sell one of them.

The laser consists of a modular host, 635nm Mitsubishi diode, a flexdrive set at 780mA, and a G1 lense optiized for red lasers. It runs off of a single 18500 battery, and a Sanyo high current battery is included. I don't know what the amperage is because you can't read the damn writing on the thing. :)

The laser put out a lttle over 600mW, and although at this current the driver didn't need heatsinking it is anyway, and the heatsink is thermal glued to the back of the diode heatsink for easily ajusting the current, if youy desired to do so.

SOLD

Re: FS - 635nm Laser @ 600mW

Wow that thing is a beast! Wish I had some money to spend right now...
According to the brightness calculator, 600mw of 635nm is about as bright as 2.5W of 660, or 1W of 445!
That's a great price, I'm sure someone will pick it up quick!

Includes battery but not charger. I'm pretty sure its sold though, as another member in Canada committed to purchasing it.

If that deal falls through though, I would include a charger that I have lying around, since that cost about the same as the extra postage to Canada.

I will PM you either way, fair enough?

Not surprised it sold already. But no I was asking if the included battery was a rechargeable one. I guess I picked up from your response that it is though.

You've got a great laser coming your direction!

I got both the SH i bought from you, rhd and mark's... today! pretty crazy they came at the same time. so i will fiddle with them and one of them is going to back up for sale. likely this one (mark's) not because its not a great laser but because i have a bunch of others in the SH host you used rhd and i'd like to have my pointers all in the same host.

i just tested them out at work, no LPM, and they work fine. likely i will swap lenses and put mark's back up for sale. so keep your eyes peeled.
