Hi,

For sale today is a Sinoteck 532nm laser pointer. It was advertised as 1000mW but obviously it is nowhere near that.

I do not have a LPM but I would guess it has an output between 150mW and 180mW. It emits a nice strong beam and can burn black materials (leather wallet, holster, etc...)

SPECIFICATIONS

Dimensions: 13.5cm (L) 3.0cm (W)
Wavelength: 532nm
Operation: Click Button Operation

Included with your purchase is a free carrying pouch and a free holster. (Note: the holster has a hole burned through it. I imagine you can guess why :D)

Below you will find a photo album of this unit:

The iPhone camera doesn't really do the beam shot justice; it is a bit brighter in person.

For the most part, this unit is actually quite nice. It has a nice weight to it and the host is made of metal. The material seems to be very scratch resistant. The beam can be focused as well.

I am asking $30 PayPal + $3 shipping

I will include a battery for free as well

Thanks for reading :thanks:

The 3 cm width was measured at the head. The body is about 2.5cm

It uses a single 18650 which will be included with the purchase for free

Feel free to let me know if you have any additional questions or concerns

Best Regards

That is not a very good guess.
Your price is low so it will sell regardless.
But people should know what their really getting.
It's likely this unit puts out around 50mW. Maybe 70 on a good day.

good luck

Re: FS: 150mW-180mW Green (532nm)

Note the obvious opportunities to flame or pound the OP into
proverbial submission here. A bruiser and an admitted stickler for enforcing compliant sales threads that consistently over disclose the particulars. And selling over spec lasers at under-spec prices.

So, what do we have here?........I don't hear the usual thud of mud holes being stomped all over the OP or his sales thread. Or did we witness the OP with head tilted south in slow retreat. There's a time and place for everything. This was the time and place for

"I'll ......... I'll take it"..

 I bought from him twice before, and twice happy. The host of the laser looks interesting. Even if it turns out to be underspec, and does 50mW... well, for the price, no big deal.

Re: FS: 150mW-180mW Green (532nm)

Received the laser today. It's very stable between 110mW and 120mW. IR content is about 15-20mW.

Very nice case btw, I didn't realize that was coming with the laser... :)

Re: FS: 150mW-180mW Green (532nm)

Yup, for the price it's great. I was expecting anywhere between 50mW and 180mW...

Some of the worst threads I have EVER encountered, and the white epoxy inside is well, it's ugly lol, but it works great. The lens also needed cleaning, now the dot is perfect :D It will probably make a nice gift for someone.
