So for my 1000th post I wanted to make a review so thats just what i'm doing. I've had this laser for a little while now and kinda put off doing the review so that i could make it my 1000th post. The PL650 is a nice big host and a little longer in the end then the PL405 but not by very much. all in all its a really nice laser and was overspec which makes me happy.

Yeah sorry if the video wasn't working it should be now. I started uploading the video and linked it in the review before it was finished uploading and started the tread because i had to leave for work.

Yeah the aperture seamed just fine I took an exacto knife around the edge but wasn't able to remove very much more then a sliver. And for the output its amazing. I used a Panasonic NCR18650b for the. test but have some other Panasonic's I heard are really good for high discharge that I'll meter with tonight and see if it helps. I've also still got to add some beam shots.

Nice! Quite a few of us bought this one in the GB and it's VERY nice. This one was definately worth putting in the PL vs. the HL.
Honestly never thought I would like the PL over the HL because of the size but boy was I wrong. Liked the look of the PL better but it just seemed too big. The HL feels like a toy in comparison.
Video worked for me perfectly:)
Since I gave away a cake earlier for a 1000th post here's yours:bday::p

The dot is pretty bad. It multi mode. I've heard its better then the Mitsubishi but I don't own one to compare the two.

Nice laser, 1,200mw is serious output.

I was thinking of getting one myself with last group buy but did not chime in, in time. Would love to have a highly visable 650 red.

Will order in next GBnext time based on your good experience.

Enjoy it!

Right its well worth the money. Blord also had a good home as well. When I first tested mine I had a peek of 1.4W but that was probably because I tested it about 20 minutes after it was dropped of spit was still pretty chilled from being on the mail truck and in the delivery persons sack.
