SinkPad Copper LED Mount

Hi guys,

Just wanted to share the deal about the SinkPad Copper LED mounting stars.

The 20mm stars are used to mount Cree XM-L and XP-G / XP-G2 / XP-E / XPE-2 / XP-C / XT-E LED's to a copper mount with amazing thermal conductivity.

The prices are $1.50 each since we've already hit 300+ stars.

What LEDs need those copper stars? I've never even seen one on 10W LEDs.

High powered Cree LED's love heatsinking, shown in this graph:

Not mandatory, but there is significant performance boost when you're pushing them.

Huh... I didn't think that it'd make such a huge difference, but I guess that is a lot more surface area it gets spread over in that distance.

I have joined the copper groupbuy. A high current driven XML led need a lot of heat removed for that extra lumen.
