I don't know anything about these things i bought it at a thrift store a long time ago. It is very large. It has a rechargable battery, a wood grain carrying case with a sentec logo on it, on the side of it there is a yellow sticker that says HE-NE Laser 1.0 mW MAX OUTPUT.

i was 14 or 15 years old when i bought this i was planning on trying to break it open and take a look inside of it, but i never did that. i was thinking that it probably had the potential for a much more powerful beam judging by the size of it

That's actually a cool collectable. Anyone know what the original use of somethign like that was? Is this an early laser pointer? It's interesting that it even has a shutter for a 1mw beam.
