I have noticed Samsung 18650's are surprisingly affordable on places such as Ebay. I recently got one that came with a laser I purchased and put it on my Opus to test it out. Its a really nice cell. They only come in as high as 2100- 3000 mAh but lately I'm not as worried about getting 3400's. I rarely use my battery's more than an hour run time.
Just wanted to see what people thought or experienced with these Samsungs. The different are rated 15A, 20A, 25A and 30A I assume 30A would be best for using in lasers?

Your ebay link only takes me to ebay, do you have a specific ebay link to these batteries?

Edit: oh, link is now gone.

olympus;

I think you are misreading some of the Samsung cells.
The ICR18650-30B cells only have a 6 amp rating (the 30 refers to 3000mah).

High-current cells are only desired when you have current requirements over ~ 10 amps . . . since they are lower capacity.

The newest 3500mah Sanyo cells are suitable for up to 10 amps..
