EIDT: This is the power graph of the old diodes: (the Sony GB curve is the one for the old StoneTek diodes)

The lower graph is the original StoneTek diode. The upper graph is an open can diode.

I ran mine at the upper threshold -- 400 mA -- for 14 hours. YMMV.

I'd stay around 350 mA or so. Meter your diode. Anything over 400 mA just made heat.

Yeah, I don't think heatsinking is such a big issue compared to the need of a DRIVER.

Consider: Power in - Power out = Heat to be removed. Stay below the power curve ;D

Hey Hemlock sorry if this was asked before but when i read your thread on the new diodes and how you ran them at 400ma were you using additional heatsinking beyond the aixiz module?
