OK so i have a firedragon 200mw and the eagleapair laser goggles but i was wondering if i need to wear goggles for just pointing in the sky? i have look around and i keep seeing 2 different answers

You need goggles if there is a chance that you would end up catching a beam or a reflection in the eye. You won't be able to see the beam wearing goggles.

No not really as long as you're just sky pointing. As ghost said. You really only need goggles if there is a chance of getting hit with a reflection. Outside at night while pointing into the sky that doesn't seem likely.

Absolutely unneccessary, however never use continuous, locked mode. Nights are obviously dark, and sometimes even very cold, yielding clumsiness. Just imagine what could happen.
So always use it sparingly, turning on and off by pressing the button. Happy skygazing!
