This is my first review so please if you think it's good or bad let me know, don't hold back.
I got one of Ricks 3.5W kits and have had two days and nights to check it out.
First the transaction was flawless and he shipped it out the same day he got payment. He's very good to work with. The unit was packed well and was in perfect condition. The machining is very good and the threads are sharp and clean. It has a large 25mm focus ring already installed.
Now to the kit, this is what you get.
The Host
module
2 18650 batteries
2 adapter sleeves 18650 to 26650 Diameter
2 slot charger
wrist strap
Safety glasses
Here's some pics.
The kit
The unit assembled
The front of the unit.
The module
The contact end of the module showing the base of the driver
It's 239mm long and 47mm at the widest point.
Sorry no scale so I can't give a real weight but I checked it a against a 1 pound certified ingot on a seesaw balance and I estimate it at just over .6 LB.
It feels good in the hand and is easy to maneuver.
Here is a video of it on a cd case. I have really bad tremor so holding steady doesn't happen. Watch me jump when the timer goes off at the end.
I really like the kit and will be buying more from Rick.
I live in the city so night time beam shots out side are a no no, but I have a large unfinished basement.
From the front side,Camera couldn't get focused, beam is much tighter.
From the back side.
Well I did it. Here is a night time outside beam shot.
I'll add more burning later and when I get my LPM together I'll post results.

Ps I can be an idiot. The switch has 4 modes, high, medium, low and strobe. Just realized how to work the switch. push all the way in to turn on high. light touch med and so on just barely press the switch and it changes modes.
