it can charge regular battreys.

Bad idea, there is a very high chance that alkalines can explode when being charged, also they can only be recharged a few times before the remaining capacity becomes almost nothing.

Stick with sanyo eneloops, they are the best rechargeable battery and provide virtually the same output as energizer e2 lithiums do.

Also they dont take 48 hours to recharge

I believe he's asking if it's good for making lasers.
Someone made a laser with it once, that was ages ago so I don't think I'll ever find the thread though.

How the hell do you make a laser out of a charger? Maybe he means you use some components from one.

Well, I don't remember if this is what it was called, but it sounds familiar, I remember it was a cylinder and it had a circuit board on the top. :-? If only I could find the thread.
