im sick of buying brand new batteries every other week - either that or i have an underpowered pulsar from wicked.
is it ok to use rechargeable batteries in this? if so, which r the best batteries to use in this laser?
also is it true u cant use energizer lithiums as it fries the diode?

away from the pulsar, i have 2 of wickeds core 5mw pointers, 1 i paid for, the other was free it just came through the post 2 days ago? thing is, the free core i just recieved is nearly twice as powerful as the 1 i bought? whats going on here i thought theyr both 5mw?
tried both lasers with fresh lithium batts, same result - either the 1 i bought is underpowered or the freebie is a freak?

You cannot use rechargeables, it WILL fry instantly.
If I remember correctly the pulsars have no voltage control(er)?

This is because rechargeables are often 'over charged' to a higher voltage e.g. I've seen 1.9v from a freshly removed rechargeable AA battery.

I must correct you on this statement alkalines and rechargeables are fine in the pulsar. Do not use lithium batteries in a pulsar as this will fry the diode

Rechargeable NiMh's are fine - just no rechargeable Lithium batteries of ANY sort in a Pulsar - it will toast it instantly.
