Hi guys,

I just got this baby yesterday.

The EMS courier service took 7 days to reach my home.
I placed order with Faona on 4th Jan and yesterday was 11th Jan.

Ok, lets cut the crap and enjoy my humble video here:

Video here: Rayfoss 532nm 200mW FLX

Beam Shot Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SMDxiQxBq6E
It was totally different result when I took the video with Xperia Neo V, +1 on Exposure. This was exactly how it looks in real life without fog.

Hope it didn't make you bored. :D

UPDATE 27 JAN 2013
My unit pronounced Dead after 2 weeks of prudent usage....
It was my fault too, due to chilling it very often and ...one day while chilling it with my air-con, it caught condensation inside the diode(suspect) and died.

When performing an autopsy on it, I found the crystal that there used was Very Tiny. No wonder the output fluctuates(after 1 sec.) every time I turned it on. The fluctuation was 30~50% decrease in power, since it took 4 times the power to double the brightness. Yes, brightness decrease 30~50%.

My cheap one does not exhibit such behavior of decrease. They both have the same design crystal but different driver but the small one was way too stable even temperature gone slightly warm.

If the output is stable, I would need not to chill that often and this accident won't be happened.

I suspect they give me the Power Certificate on one hand and giving me an underspec unit on the other hand.

Morale: If plan to buy a >100mW 532nm. Better save more and purchase the best affordable unit from Jetlaser.
I will make a saving now and eye on future GB(Group Buy usually at least 20% way cheaper) of Jetlaser products.

I found that the laser performance was greatly affected by temperature.

On a normal temperature of my country which is 29~31c. It would took 25sec. to ignite the matches at 3ft.
While on temperature of 20c. (adjusted by air-cond.) The performance was greatly increased, ofcause I need chill up the laser unit before putting into test again.

This time on 20c. room temperature and it took 4sec to ignite the matches at 3ft. Then, I took another test which was 4ft in distance and the matches ignited in 10sec.

Normal room temperature of 29~31c. it can't even ignites a matches at 4ft with given 40sec.

Other possible factors that affecting performance:
a) Mod hop
b) Focusing mechanism
c) mW
d) matches quality

sorry if it seams i came off harsh but with green lasers your really should use a quality cell to get the best performance out of the laser. these cells would work just fine if you where using a buck drive or something but greens really do need good cells.

What camera are you using? I bought a 150mw 532nm (WarnLaser) for my brother and it was way bright. I gave him the 4000mAh CrapFire 18650 battery that came with my 2W 445nm. I then bought an AW 3400mAh (Panasonic) 18650 for myself...

:) I used Canon 500D to take the video. The beam usually would be dimmer in the video. It is bright for sure, only the efficiency of burning on given distance. I might also look into Sanyo 18650 Protected.
