I realize lower powered pointers don't have much of a following here, but does anyone have any good information on how Rayfoss' 10mw compares to NewWish's 10mw pointer?
I'm looking for something in the 10mw class to use as an indoor/outdoor pointer. Significant overspec is not a plus (extreme eye hazard from reflections = bad) but rapid start is very important (a pointer isn't useful if it takes two seconds to put out a spot bright enough to be visible). A good quality switch (no flickering from finger movements on the button) is also important.
Is the Rayfoss unit enough of an improvement over NewWish's offering to be worth the extra money?
