Questions regarding KTP

I hope i posted this in the right spot. first forum ive ever joined. lol. But.... I recently dissected my 100mW greenie, coming to find out the AR coatings on the KTP have literally been " blown/ lased off lol".. I understand that this is entirely possible with high pump powers and what not.. Is this a preventable measure? Thanks~ I have a spare doubler laying around, but I'm afraid to ruin it by just replacing it... any thoughts? Thanks~ ~CB
