I was wondering how many mW's the pump diode has to be to output say 200mW of 532nm light. Is there a solid ratio for the pump diode power to 532nm output power?

That all depend on the efficiency of the crystals and
optical losses.
There are more informed members here but I think it
is something in the ballpark of 30% of the pump diode's
power.

Yes, It would be 30% conversion efficiency for a near perfect well tuned setup.

If its not for high precision applications, you can more likely expect 20-25% conversion efficiency. So for 200mws, go for 1W of pump power, you can always turn it down if its too much.

Thanks for the answers guys. I have been thinking about setting up a bench top 532nm using a 2W pump diode. It is more of an experiment than an attempt to get any kind of portable laser.
