PWM/TTL input on DX or O-Like green module

Does anyone know a way of adding PWM or TTL to the generic DealExtreme or OLike module? From the photos it looks like it's possible to access diode leads so I could just unsolder the driver and use a TTL enabled one. Or does someone know about a green, about 50mW module that has TTL or PWM?

If you wanted analog modulation, you could cut the trace leading to pin 3 (+ input) of the op-amp and wire in your own voltage (from a DAC or some other source), with the max current being equal to I = Vin/R1.

From the photos I managed to get it looks like the driver is possible to be replaced. So, after customizing the pot to my likings (turning it down a bit... lol) I will just unsolder the driver, measure it, set the TTL one and solder it on. All IR diodes are same pinout, right?
