program to run with

ok I have made a start on my CNC/laser cutter but I need a program
to run the cnc machine but I don't know witch one to use ??

I have down loaded this cad program draft-sight but what cam (I think that's right) program will run with it, must be free for now as all my money is going into building this project with my son (Luke)

for any one that's interested? this is the cnc I am going to build with a laser and router attached But not at the same time

Hey, I've also built/working on rebuilding a laser cutter. The most common CNC control program is Mach 3. The trial version is limited to 500 lines of g-code, however.
