problem with my green 300mw laser

So i had a 50mw laser about a year ago, now i bought 300mw and it is so weak. When i turn it on it lights really bright but after about 200ms it becomes very weak :/

What could be the problem ? I tried different NEW batteries.. still the same!

Ok after some testing i found out that laser is very bright, but only when it is very cold.. i left it outside on about 5°C for an hour. I tested it and it was very bright, but after about 2min of usage and when i had it inside (20°C) the beam was gettin weaker... That is wierd cuz i had 50mw laser and if i had it outside (0-5°C) it was getting weaker, but when i warmed it up it was bright again... strange...

That is indeed a lil strainge , 532 DPSS need to be like bla bla 30°C to work for max output maybe ( TEC cooling ?? ) is an option
