Preferred picture size

Hey everyone, I was getting ready to post my first two reviews - hopefully within the next few days. To prepare, I was just wondering how large/small you guys like the pictures (then I can edit them down to size in GIMP). If it helps, the original photos are 3900x2600 pixels. :thanks:

800x600 is the maximum we like on the forum,well its actually the size the attachment adder allows so go for that ...

I would say anything under 1000 wide is fine.

Hmm it certainly won't let me add any bigger than 800x600 and my PC when i can get the wife of it is full HD 1920x1080
must play around with attachments and see what's happening.

Not all images are uploaded through the forums. I can easily post a 8000px wide image uploaded to a different website.

Can't upload them to LPF if they are large, but can use other sites like imgur.

That's both i knew it wasn't my imagination on the size.one of the few things that my S4 galaxy does get right on the forum is input output on pictures no matter how big they get fitted to the screen and i can zoom out or in if i want in a pinch ...

Thanks for all the suggestions. I'll probably end up just doing 600x800 so I can upload them directly to LPF.

I use 900x600 for the picture size but I don't upload it here. The pictures are uploaded to my personal webspace.

No, dead serious, I don't think the system would allow a length over 600
