Hi, today I got my first overspec ''5mW'' green laser from ebay. I can see the beam in my slightly lit room and it pops balloons in 15 sec. I have added a 9.5mm IR filter but it still pops balloons. I think this laser is too dangerous for me so I'm going to try to pot mod it to lower the power to <5mW.
Have anyone done this? and do you think that it's a good idea?
