It is up to the DOJ to prosecute Trump. I think that will happen. The state of Georgia and New York may also prosecute Trump. They are certainly investigating him.

I'm extremely skeptical to say the least. No former president has ever been convicted of any felony, and history has had some doozies. Tyler committed treason during the Civil War, Clinton lied under oath, Nixon did tons of illegal things. None of them faced any sort of indictment after they left office.

I often hear something in the 1st run of a news cycle, then they never say it again, the point was that most voters do not support federalizing the elections, maybe they were saying only 6% of Republicans, I can't find anything on it now.

Nixon wasn't prosecuted because he was pardoned by Ford. Clinton lied about having an affair and most voters believed that didn't even rise to the level of removal from office. No one has ever tried to steal an election in the manner Trump did. He instigated a siege on the Capital and there were many Republicans who submitted forged documents calling themselves the electors from states Biden won. The forgeries were exactly the same in every state where this was tried. That seems to suggest that this was a fraud perpetrated by a single organization or organized crime style of outfit. We shall see. I expect him to face charges, if not by the DOJ, then by a state where the evidence against him is overwhelming.

I used to be agnostic....maybe even a bit of an atheist, I thought man could live better without religion, I was wrong.

Yeah, I expect Trump will run again in 2024. That will be a gift to Democrats as there is no way Trump can possibly win again. Presidents don't have any influence over inflation. That was obvious when Ronald Reagan was president and had the highest inflation rates of any president in the the years when he was running. As far back as March 2020, the S- and L- variants (short and long spike mutations of SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes covid) were identified and being investigated. So, Biden's comment there is very puzzling indeed.

The DOJ has now charged the leader of the Oath Keepers with Seditious Conspiracy. That hasn't happened since people were charged in the 911 conspiracy. I'm glad Garland did this. Ten other members of the Oath Keepers have also been charged as well.

The SCOTUS struck down Biden's " vaccine or test " mandate for big businesses but allowed it to stand for federal employees and medical workers who's employers take federal funds.

As early as two days after the 2020 election he was using an encrypted app to plan for the assault on the Capital. He spent over $17 thousand on weapons and ammunition which was held just outside D.C. so they could have access to them quickly. This charge carries 20 years in prison. Rhodes and the ten other members are now under indictment.
