ok....so heres what i got, a phr803 diode powered by a rkcstr microdrive adjustable driver set to 119ish mA

as first it all seemed great, but i started to notice a slight "flicker" in the brightness of the beam, then after a while it goes really dim (almost as if my batteries were dead)
then it will go to no visible light shining, but if i look in i can see this flickering that remind me alot of static electricity...

and if i leave it alone for a while it will go back to working......

think they is something wrong with the driver?
this is the first time i use an adjustable...i usually always use fixed drivers

if the current draw does not change when this happens
then its probably just the diodes thats faulty

found it!!

the LD pin was being bent up against the case which acts as a GD, shorting it out.

fixed :)

thank you.
