Thought this would be fun to add to the collection of photos here.

Back when the PS3 revolution took hold I whipped me up a simple project box host that looked like this:

It still puts out a decent dot and beam with the original battery!!

Nice work. How many mAs of current to the diode?
I like the way you arranged the aixiz to the board :)

Thanks to both of you for your compliments.

For the mA I set it around 40 mA based upon what I had learned on this page:

That was such a cool project! I ended up making two. ;)

I've just replaced the above older AiXiz lens with one of the newer wider ones and the beam looks even stronger.
