It ( Superweld ) is not as strong of a bond as the CRL but it is easier to break free and even remove from optics with a strong thumbnail, so for temporary makeshift arrangements it's just right, but for a permanent build I use the CRL.

The CRL is strong and works well but it can have a very thin surface tack that fully cures after a day or so, I haven't noticed any out-gassing or optics contamination from it, but I have been wanting to try this one.

Oops, they got me with the old switcharoo, the price is much higher on that 4 diode head.

You know you can edit your posts instead of starting a new one 3 to 23 minutes apart. Just thought you'd like to know.

When you edit a post that has :) in the string it comes back as an emoji and doesn't work, these strings are so long they inevitability contain that sequence, so rather than recopy each string and repost it, I just made 3 posts, it's not that often that I post in this thread and the site is not all that busy, so there's no need to do it the hard way just to avoid a bit of childish prattle from some old hippy socialist who's unhappy about being wrong all the time and looking for any chance to snipe at his intellectual superior. :)
