The nights have been rather boring recently so I have been fiddling abour with some old motors and making a little spirograph. I just had the idea to build one properly since I still have the enclosure I built my old scanner into laying around.
I just found these, very cheap, PC fans which I can mount the mirrors onto.

I have connected them up in series in the past as I was only using two motors salvaged from a old VCR... Would it be best connecting these up in paralell? If so, how would I connect something up to control the speed of the motors individually and do DX do anything like that?
