I have a few potential hosts here for a large O-Like module size (>250mW). I plan to order one of these modules sooner or later, but in the meantime, I was wondering if anyone could help explain the drawing which Susie sent me. Bear in mind I did try talking to her directly to get this question answered, but the conversation was very slow and non-productive; I assume the translation was possibly hard for her to understand or she was too busy at the time.
OK, here is the dimensional drawing on one of these modules sent by Susie:
My question concerns the "power supply board". Is it inside of a metal cylinder, with spring protruding, or is the board potted to the "heat conductive" area and permanently attached?
A picture could tell me a thousand words, if anyone would be so kind as to post a photo of their module. I'm really just trying to figure out if the stated length overall is an absolute, or if there is room for any shortening of the overall module length. I may be able to squeeze it into a better looking host depending on how this is actually assembled. I was thinking that maybe I could just use a different driver in general, for instance.
Thank you
