O-Like IR filtered modules?

Has anyone attempted a build with the (expensive) IR filtered modules? They seem to be larger than the standard modules...

And if someone has, what kind of host did you place it in?

I apologize if this question has been asked before... I tried searching for something of this nature, but I didn't accomplish anything.

Noone on LPF sells hosts for these modules. If you wanted to put one of these in a flashlight host you would have to make it yourself. They are quality modules though. I think the only advantage in making a host instead of buying one of these modules in an O-like host, is the ability to use a fairly small host, since most high mW greens are only offered in RPL style. I'm not sure if you would need to add any additional around the module but for long duty cycles, the answer is most likely yes.
